The conversation continues

This year’s programme at Nampo Cape is a continuation of the discussion that took place at the Nampo Harvest Day during May, and will once again be facilitated by Theo Vorster, co-founder of Galileo Capital.

The discussion topics are:

• Infrastructure: opportunities amid the obstacles.
• The fresh face of rural revival.
• Economic collision course: driver or driven?
• Winter grains: a boost for barley.
• Rural Safety: you are the difference. In collaboration with Agri Western Cape.
• Youth: technology and strategies for the future.

The discussions will be streamed live from the Nation in Conversation YouTube channel, website and Facebook.

More about Nation in Conversation

Nation in Conversation was first launched at the Nampo Harvest Day in 2013 and the first production took place under the auspices of the then ‘Senwes Toekomsfokus Gespreksforum’.

Today, this forum represents a vital platform from where thought leaders from various affiliations, political backgrounds and the business sector can discuss issues, locally and internationally, that impacts the South African agricultural sector. These discussions pave the way for innovative solutions and problem-solving interventions which not only contribute towards the overall resilience of the sector, but also plays an important role in unifying the sector.

This year marks the tenth anniversary of Nation in Conversation and in celebration of this important milestone, the discussion forum boasts a dynamic new look and feel and is set to continue to blaze a trail of excellence within the South African agricultural sector.
